Hi, I'm Rebecca

Founder of Kenmore Media and a social media marketer who genuinely cares about small businesses.

I started Kenmore Media to help small businesses show up online with clarity, confidence, and consistency.

Because I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to run a business and try to market it at the same time.

Local social media support

Running a business in Kenmore is no small feat. That’s why I take the weight of social media off your shoulders—so you can focus on what you do best. Whether it’s building your brand, connecting with your customers, or simply finding balance, Kenmore Media is here to help with
Instagram management.

Why I Do This Work

Small businesses are the heart of our community, but they are often expected to do everything on their own, including marketing.

Between managing day-to-day operations, finances, and customer relationships, social media often becomes overwhelming or inconsistent.

That is where I come in.

My goal is to make marketing feel approachable, strategic, and actually useful for your business, not just another thing on your to-do list.

A Community-Focused Approach

I am based in Kenmore, NY and work closely with businesses across Buffalo and Western New York, while also supporting clients remotely across the United States.

I also run the “What’s Up Kenmore?” Facebook group, a local community of over 24,000 members where residents connect with small businesses, events, and each other.

That perspective shapes everything I do.

I do not just create content. I think about how people engage with businesses locally, what builds trust, and what actually brings customers through the door.

My Background

I have over five years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, and marketing.

I graduated from Canisius University with a degree in Strategic Communications, with minors in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies.

My academic background focused heavily on media analysis, communication theory, public relations, journalism, and digital marketing.

I also completed a 50+ page honors thesis analyzing storytelling, media, and gender representation through Baz Luhrmann’s Red Curtain Trilogy. This work strengthened my ability to think critically about messaging, audience, and how content is received.

In addition to client work, I run a media analysis blog called Gender Gazette, where I explore how media and messaging shape the way we see the world.

Who I've Worked With

I’ve worked with a range of businesses and organizations across Western New York and beyond, including:

  • Red Otter Coffee
  • Kenmore Village Improvement Society
  • Made for Good Shop
  • Dog Days of Kenmore
  • Kenmore Porchfest
  • DAWN – Divorce Attorneys for Women
  • Town of Tonawanda Public Library – Kenmore Branch
  • The Fit Physique
  • Fete
  • Kenmore Business Association
  • Michael’s Floral Design
  • The Griffin Newspaper

Each project is different, but the goal is always the same. Create marketing that feels authentic, builds trust, and supports real business growth.

What I Help With

I specialize in social media management, content creation, copywriting, and strategy for small businesses.

That includes everything from planning and creating content to writing captions, managing accounts, and helping businesses find a clear and consistent voice online.

I focus on organic marketing and do not offer paid ads or website development. Instead, I help businesses build a strong foundation through content and messaging that lasts.

  • Clear communication
  • Thoughtful strategy

  • Marketing that feels like you
